Discover your Inner Astronaut - What do you do after you’ve gone to space? Launch a podcast, of course. This new Audible podcast features retired astronauts Nicole Stott and Helen Sharman (the first British person to go to space) exploring how much of the training they received for their space missions can be applied to our own lives back on Earth.

That might sound a little bit abstract, but it actually makes a lot of sense when you realise that their training consisted of how to deal with loneliness, how to avoid panic when things go wrong and the importance of scheduling time to rest. There’s lots of practical tips and advice in three thirty minute episodes. It is also really rather inspiring to hear Stott and Sharman talk about how going to space changed their perspective and attitudes towards life too.

This podcast is an Audible Original, which means that it isn’t free for everyone, but it doesn’t use any of your subscriber credits if you’re with them either.
