Sticking with history podcasts, here’s an interesting collaboration: Ubisoft has teamed up with the podcast company History Hit to explore the real-life history behind the hugely successful Assassin’s Creed game series.
Hosted by Dan Snow, the well-known face of History Hit, each episode weaves together the sights and sounds of the game with the real-life events that inspired it. You’ll hear from historians about the context and the real events that inspired the gameplay as well as the developers, who talk about the research and attention to detail that went into depicting these scenes.
