The Rest is Football (Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards) has a special preview episode looking ahead to the final, whilst The Guardian’s Football Daily (it is usually weekly but has been daily for the tournament) discusses Southgate and how England’s chances have completely changed from only a few weeks ago. Goal Diggers Football Podcast, which we featured last week, have been reflecting on the tournament too.
Heroes & Humans of Football has a special episode looking at the life stories of Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal, two young stars from the Spanish squad and how they both represent the future of the sport.
Meanwhile, The Tennis Podcast is live from Wimbledon each day and will continue to drop episodes throughout the rest of the Grand Slam tournaments. And as The Tour de France is also currently taking place this week, with Never Strays Far and Watts Occurring with Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe providing daily episodes from the peloton.
To coincide with the Olympics later this month, Wondery’s Everything to Play For hosted by Colin Murray and Elis James have a two-parter looking at the life of the athlete Mo Farah. The first episode will be out tomorrow (Monday 15th July) and the second episode will drop the following week.
