Announcing a full rebrand, The Bad Therapist Show is evolving along with its listeners. The podcast, hosted by therapist business coach and former private practice owner, Felicia Keller Boyle, was launched three years ago with the goal of teaching listeners how to build a practice that they didn’t have to escape from. Now, as Felicia says, her listeners are ready for the next step, “The goalpost has shifted as we’ve grown. The therapists showing up now are more successful, more self-aware, and ready for a bolder conversation. This rebrand is my commitment to meet them there.”
The show's content continues to centre on private practice growth, marketing, money, leadership and professional identity, but with an increased emphasis on helping therapists transition from practitioner to CEO.
The new artwork reflects three personas of the host herself: the therapist in the office, the business owner, and the human first. Together, they represent the show’s core pillars: business growth, leadership and identity, and lifestyle and freedom. Felicia’s message to listeners is that therapists should not have to choose between any of these things; they can exist in tandem. Going forward, conversations will focus on how successful therapists can keep growing without sacrificing the lives they're working so hard to build.
Summer brings a welcome time for this rebrand, as many entrepreneurs take a natural pause to step back and review their businesses. This podcast wants to challenge listeners to ask bolder questions than just "how do I grow?" and instead reflect on whether the business they are building is actually delivering the life they want.
