Podcast for the Kids Holidays

As schools prepare to break for the school holidays, let’s have a look at some great podcasts for younger ears that you can get into this summer.

The National Geographic Kids have released Greeking Out, which delves into Greek myths and legends. To coincide with World UFO Day, The Week Junior’s Mysteries of Science has launched a special episode looking at the phenomenon, whilst Fun Kids Science Weekly looks ahead to the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition, a big summit where scientists talk about the latest scientific breakthroughs and research.

Fun Kids are also behind Family Walks, which offer interesting walking routes for all the family in places such as Bristol, The Black Country and the City of London. Also look out for Go Jetters, who explore deep caves in Northern Ireland to waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons.

And, for when the little ones are tired, there is a great set of bedtime stories to help them nod off. Mr Bedtime Stories features stories from the Mr Men and Little Miss universe, Thomas & Friends Storytime features stories from the Tank Engine universe and CBeebies Radio Podcast from … you guessed it … the world of CBeebies.
