Joe Marler is taking his hit podcast Joe Marler Will See You Now on the road later this year, with a nationwide theatre tour set to visit seven UK venues across October and November. Along with co-host Jake Bhardwaj, Joe Marler Will See You Live is heading to venues including the London Palladium, Manchester Opera House and Brighton Dome.

The podcast was launched off the back of Joe Marler’s success on The Celebrity Traitors, taking inspiration from the show’s format. The premise sees Marler inviting a celebrity guest into his fictional “practice”, where he attempts to analyse them through probing questions, observational challenges and unusual mind games.

After retiring in 2024 as one of England’s great rugby players, Marler went on to steal the public's (and his fellow contestants’) hearts with his “Big Dog Theory” on The Celebrity Traitors, which, according to the BBC, had 14.8 million viewers tuning in per episode. It was no surprise then when his podcast, launched six months ago, skyrocketed into the charts and has since reached 8 million long-form streams and 137 million social media views, according to producer Platform Media.

Bhardwaj, who also hosts the live comedy show Not Another Quiz Night and Saturday Night Live’s 5toLive, as well as The Pub Quiz podcast, acts as Marler’s co-host and “research assistant”, often stepping in to steer conversations back on track as the pair balance chaos with more personal discussions.

The live version of the show will expand on the podcast’s mix of audience participation, improvised set-pieces and celebrity interviews, with a new guest each night. Marler shared his excitement to get on stage saying, “The reaction since launch has been amazing. I can’t wait to bring all the silliness and the more serious moments of the show into the real world.”

  • Birmingham Town Hall – Monday 26 October
  • York Barbican – Wednesday 28 October
  • London Palladium – Thursday 29 October
  • Manchester Opera House – Sunday 1 November
