Tortoise Investigates: Walter’s War - A bizarre story, and an engrossing one. Hosted by Basia Cummings, it tells the story of Charlie, who went on a dating site back in 2012 and met a guy called Oliver, who claimed that he had been working in Afghanistan with the Military of Defence. They met up (yes, he actually existed!) and fell in love.
Yet the relationship doesn’t last long. After being dumped by him not long after applying for a job in a similar industry and citing him in her application, she receives a message that said that Oliver’s life contained some huge untruths. Years later, it appeared Oliver has since had considerable success founding a billion-dollar company. Only, have the mistruths continued?
