The Rest Is Money - Following on from the success of The Rest is History (Tom Holland - not the actor and Dominic Sandbrook) and The Rest is Politics (Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart) and The Rest is Football (Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer) is now …The Rest is Money! Each episode explores the latest in business, economics and finance with the same lighthearted and conversational chat that has made this brand so popular in such a short space of time.

It’s presented by ITV political editor Robert Peston and Channel 4 broadcaster Steph McGovern (who used to do business news on BBC Breakfast.)

There’s an interesting selection of stories each episode, with their first covering the decline of Wilkos and what it means for the high street, our dependence on ‘critical infrastructure’ (such as air traffic control) and what can happen when it all goes wrong and why the French government is paying their farmers to destroy its wine surplus. Sacré bleu.
