The Rest is Entertainment - Following on from Rory Smith and Alistair Campbell with politics, and Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook with history, quiz master and television expert Richard Osman and Guardian columnist Marina Hyde have now teamed up together to dissect the world of entertainment.
The show is a hoot, because both Osman and Hyde bring in their own expertise and insights about dealing with or reporting this unpredictable industry. The first episode features the duo talking about how the arrival of Squid Game: The Challenge is shaking up the tired game show formats and the implications for channels when the likes of Farage and Boris Johnson join.
“They get him in a golden handcuffs deal and then it is them wearing the handcuffs,” quips Hyde.
