Earlier this week The Grenfell Tower Inquiry released its damning report into the failures that caused the fire that resulted in the deaths of 72 people in 2017.
The Grenfell Tower Inquiry Podcast, which followed and released episodes each day of the inquiry in 2022, has now released a new ten part series hosted by Kate Lamble, who has followed this story for the past six years. The series looks at how the fire could have been prevented, and why the civil service did not follow through warnings that were given before the fire took place and why survivors felt abandoned by the authorities, with one affected family staying in a hotel for 19 months.
