Tortoise, the slow news organisation currently in talks to purchase The Observer newspaper, have a 10 minute podcast called The Sensemaker, which unpacks a major story in the news each day. Now, in collaboration with non-profit conservation organisation On The Edge, they have now launched an animal spinoff called The Animal Sensemaker.
Sticking to the ten minute episode format, each episode looks at a different animal, from pangolins to lemurs, and the people who dedicate their lives to protecting them.
