Now that the works of Arthur Conan Doyle are in the public domain on both sides of the Atlantic, there have been a growing number of adaptations in audio.

Earlier this year the hugely enjoyable Sherlock & Co launched, spinning the famous stories into a “true crime” podcast series. Now Hugh Bonneville (of Paddington and W1A) has started to narrate the stories, starting with ‘The Adventure of the Speckled Band,’ just in time for Christmas. The first two episodes are available to listen to now, with the full series available early for Noiser+ subscribers.
