Wanging On with Graham Norton and Maria McErlane – There has been a weird void on Saturday mornings ever since Graham Norton unexpectedly stood down from hosting his Virgin Radio show (not long after he left BBC Radio 2). What to do without the segment on his show where Graham and his friend, the former Eurotrash narrator Maria McErlane, answered dilemmas sent in from listeners, which was an addictive listen because of their insights and occasionally, brutal honesty.
So this week, it was announced that they have reunited for a new podcast, focused around this very feature. Every week Graham and Maria ‘wang on’ about their lives and answer a listener's conundrums. There’s also a new segment called ‘Am I Weird?’ where they pass judgement on your weird rituals. Understandably, the podcast is already at the top of the podcast charts.
