Following on from their series looking at the rise and fall (and rise) of ABBA, Radio 2 are back with a new series of their Eras strand which looks at the life, work and global success of Sting.

What sets Eras apart from other biographical series is how it taps into the BBC’s rich archive, cutting together interviews with the artist from different decades so you get to hear how they change and evolve. It’s surprisingly impactful.

You’ll also hear new contributions from some of Sting’s collaborators and fans, including Jools Holland, Bob Harris, Shaun Keaveny and Shaggy.
