Continuing on the theme of podcasts that look back and reevaluate at things we consumed in our childhood, this new series featuring comedians Eleanor Morton and Alasdair Beckett-King rereading a popular children’s book to work out whether it still stacks up in the modern age, with witty observations made as they unpack the plot.

It is one of those podcasts where the format is the second reason why you listen. The engaging and entertaining chemistry between the hosts is the real draw. There is only a pilot currently, which looks at J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Hobbit, but it feels inevitable that a full series will be made.
