The hit podcast What Does It Take? is back with a second season, just in time for the Paralympic Winter Games’ 50th anniversary. The series, produced by the team behind Rising Phoenix, launches in partnership with the Milano Cortina 2026 Organising Committee, offering fans an inside look at the stories of some of the world’s top Winter Paralympians.
Hosting the podcast is Matt “The Armless Archer” Stutzman, a Paralympic champion and world record holder in archery. He will be joined by a lineup of Paralympians across sports from ice-hockey to alpine skiing to swimming to wheelchair curling.
In the first episode of this ten-episode series, Matt talks to four-time Italian Paralympian Andrea Macrìand and two-time Paralympic gold medallist Jack Wallace from Team USA. Other episodes feature Amy Purdy, Giacomo Bertagnolli, Simone Barlaam and more. These athletes share what it takes to compete at the highest level. Matt delves into their triumphs, perseverance, and how they overcome failure.
Matt shares his excitement for the return of the show, saying, “I’m excited to be back for a second season of What Does It Take? ahead of the Winter Games. As a Paralympian, I know the power of the Paralympic Games, and through conversations with these incredible winter athletes and hearing about their incredible stories in the series, I hope to learn more.”
