Hit Horror Podcast The Magnus Archives Is Getting an Official Novel

Random House Worlds are publishing cult horror podcast’s first novel

Random House Worlds, an imprint of Penguin Random House, has announced a collaboration with Rusty Quill’s horror fiction anthology podcast The Magnus Archives to publish an official novel set in the show’s universe.

The podcast follows archivist Jonathan Sims as he records and investigates supernatural statements from the Magnus Institute, a fictional organisation dedicated to researching the esoteric and the strange.

Now, podcast creator Sims and award-winning author Premee Mohamed have written the prequel novel, From The Library Of Jurgen Leitner, which will be released this October.

The novel explores the most infamous institution in the podcast’s universe for the first time: the private library of Jurgen Leitner. The story follows two employees of the library from different eras as they attempt to uncover its dark secrets. Will they find a way out… or will the library consume them before it’s too late?
