Election Podcasts

With elections in the US and UK, what should you be listening to?

Prepare to sleep very little towards the end of the year.

On the latest edition of the Political Currency podcast, George Osborne said that he believed the date of the General Election to be the 14th November. If that is the case, it would be less than two weeks after the date of the US election, which will likely be between Trump and Biden.

The Guardian’s Today in Focus has an episode looking at the impact and the risks of having a US and a UK election, perhaps the closest since 1964, taking place in the same year.

Meanwhile both News Agents USA and Americast, which used to Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel’s old stomping ground, have roared into gear again with reaction and analysis from the Iowa caucuses.

The podcast Americano looks at whether, if at all, Trump’s ongoing legal issues will affect his campaign and likely nomination.
