Celebrity Traitors makes a podcast splash

From broadcast to podcast

The Celebrity Traitors was a huge hit for the BBC, with more than 11 million viewers tuning in on BBC One (and an additional 1.9 million on iPlayer). So at least 13 million.

The finale also featured, by my reckoning, the most watched visualised podcast of the year so far (and possibly ever), with 3.6 million tuning in for Traitors Uncloaked on BBC Two. That’s before all the people who have listened on BBC Sounds, which is counted separately.

For Traitors reaction and feedback, Marina Hyde and Richard Osman have a packed spoiler fuelled reaction episode on The Rest is Entertainment this week.

Talk of the Townsends with Benedict and Hannah Townsend have also unpack the episode, along with a special interview with Ruth Wilson about the new Apple TV+ hit Down Cemetery Road.
