The British Podcast Awards have announced their nominees for the 2024 ceremony.
182 shows, hosts and networks have been nominated across 27 categories including Best New Podcast, Rising Star, Best Network and 17 genre categories. Best Host or Hosts has been added as a brand new category.
Nominated shows include Kermode and Mayo’s Take (Arts & Culture), Kathy Burke’s Where There’s a Will There’s a Wake (Comedy, Entertainment), Jon Ronson’s Things Fell Apart (Factual) and Audible’s podcast adaption of George Orwell’s 1984 (Fiction).
Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman have been nominated for Best Hosts for their work on the Sports Agents, Kwesia aka City Girl in Nature is nominated for Rising Star, while Tortoise and Fun Kids are among the nominees for Best Network.

While most awards are chosen by a panel of expert judges, the Listeners’ Choice award is voted for by the public. The Listeners’ Choice has no nominations, you can vote for any show you choose until voting closes on the 29th August.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 26th of September at Outernet in London with tickets on sale now.
