A detailed and frank interview series that unpacks the realities of addiction. It’s presented by Paul Sculfor, a model and coach, who started the series with an episode opening up about his own story to sobriety, followed by interviews with other well-known interviews, about their own experiences.

I listened to the episode with Michelle Heaton, the actress and singer from the band Liberty X. They talked about the clarity of the ‘moment’ that made them realise that they needed to ask for help, their experience of rehab and what has helped their recovery.

“I felt that there was no way out of waking up and drinking in the morning,” says Heaton. “And now, on the other side, there is a solution. There are ways of recovering and that if I can do it other people can. The mind is a great thing when it is clear of any other influences.”

This podcast will connect with anyone who is experiencing something similar, but it is also there to create empathy with people who haven’t. Stigma comes from ignorance.
