The $6 Billion Gold Scam - Why did a prized geologist responsible for one of the biggest gold discoveries in the world fall out of a helicopter, to his death, in a Borneo rainforest? 

It is the premise of an intriguing new documentary series, a collaboration between the BBC World Service and Canadian Broadcaster CBC. It looks at how people were persuaded to part with their cash in the hope of investing in a mining opportunity worth billions of dollars, only for it to end up being a gargantuan scam. And it asks: why has nobody been held accountable for what happened?
