Mind The Gap - Tube 160 - The London Tube is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year, so Transport for London has launched a new podcast full of stories about its stations, its trains and the people who run it. There’s a guide to the architecture of Piccadilly Circus with TfL’s Ann’s Gavaghan and a preview of the new Central Line trains and the moquette that comes with them. You even join a driver carriage with Rylan, who turns out to be a huge tube line obsessive. He has even built his own Tube line in his own house, with customised digital display boards.

Yes, I know the irony of recommending a tube podcast during a strike when a lot of it will be closed in the next week, but I’m doing it anyway.
