A new nature and wildlife podcast with an interesting story at the top of the first episode. “I once had a parasitic maggot emerge from the head of its host in the palm of my hand,” says one of the show’s hosts Steve Backshall.
He’s joined by Lizzie Daly and Sarah Roberts, who use each episode to share many of their favourite facts about animals. My favourite facts from the first episode are that not all narwhals have a tusk (some have none, some have two) and polar bears are so well adjusted to the cold that any minor changes in the temperature can cause them to overheat.
