A shocking story that you may have missed at the time. The series looks at the Paria diving tragedy in 2022, where five divers were sucked into an oil pipeline near Trinidad and Tobago and trapped deep under the sea.

“They could have been saved, but they weren’t.” says reporter Isabelle Stanley. Her new series investigates how it happened and why it happened, uncovering allegations of criminal negligence and failing safety standards.

The series is meticulously detailed, full of empathy and never wavers from its focus about why these men were left to die. Three episodes are available to listen to now, with a new episode out every week.
