CBeebies Parenting Helpline – Even though some shows on CBeebies feature moments that would drive parents up the wall (I never want to watch Octonauts with my nephews ever again), they are fantastic at providing resources to help new parents through the trenches. Their latest is a new podcast series where Radio 1’s Charlie Hedges and reality star Holly Hagan-Blyth try to solve parenting advice problems along with a specialist such as health expert Dr Ranj Singh or financial expert Mrs Mummypenny.
The topics cover challenges that just about every new parent experiences: how to deal with feelings of overwhelm and what to do with a child that doesn’t sleep through the night. That might come in use during this particular heatwave we’re all caught in.
