A new series of the fabulous BBC show that looks back at the lives and impact of some of the most well known bands and musicians in history. Previous series looked at ABBA, Sting and Bob Marley. The latest is Queen, from their formation in west London in the late 1960s to their iconic gig at Live Aid in 1985.

Rather than just replaying clips from the BBC archive, the series narrated by Bill Bailey weaves interviews and news reports from the time, so you feel closer to the story, along with analysis from those who interviewed or knew them at the time. There’s also well crafted and immersive production, so the story never gets stodgy.
