Electoral Dysfunction

10:30 AM GMT on March 3, 2024

Electoral Dysfunction - In a year where political podcasts have been popping up all over a place, this new one by Sky News is well worth a look. Hosted by Jess Phillips MP, Sky News Political Editor Beth Rigby and former leader of the Scottish Conservatives Ruth Davidson, the series will reflect on the biggest political stories as we head towards a pivotal General Election.

And why the name ‘electoral dysfunction’? According to Rigby, politics isn’t working for many of us, with approval ratings for leaders in power (and potentially in waiting) not ever lower. This podcast will not only examine what has happened, but what can be done to improve things. Episodes will be out weekly.
