Having documented their relationship through NearlyWeds, NewlyWeds and NearlyParents, Sophie and Jamie Laing return to the mics to share their next chapter: parenthood. After handing the reins of their original podcast NearlyWeds over to new hosts Molly and Tom, and launching their Disney+ show Raising Chelsea earlier this month, now seems the perfect moment to launch NewlyParents.
The series follows the couple as they adjust to life as first-time parents with a new baby. They explore a period of significant change, balancing shifting priorities, new routines and the chaotic realities of early parenthood. It also looks beyond the practicalities of raising a child, giving listeners a glimpse into relationships under pressure, family and friendship dynamics, and changes in identity.
Sophie and Jamie continue their established style, combining tongue-in-cheek humour with honest, open discussions about the challenges and uncertainties that come with this stage of life. The show joins JamPot Productions’ slate of podcasts, including Jamie Laing’s other show Great Company and Paloma Faith’s Mad Sad and Bad among others.
