Podcasting’s Funniest Names: Golden Lobes 2026 Shortlist Revealed

The Golden Lobes return for a second year to celebrate the funniest podcasts, creators and standout comedy moments across the audio industry. The awards, hosted by Cheerful Earful, recognise moments that make audiences laugh across all genres.

Nominations have now been announced for all 17 categories, led by Sam Lake’s I’ve Had A Rosé, Let’s Talk About Feelings, which has received six nominations, including The Big Ears Award for Funniest Show of the Year. Other shows up for a prize are Wolf and Owl with Tom Davis & Romesh Ranganathan for Best Live Show, Tonsil Hockey for Best New Show, Button Boys for Best Listener Moment and Sir Andy Murray for Best Guest on The Romesh Ranganathan Show.

The awards evening will be held on 6 May at The Clapham Grand in London, hosted by Jake Bhardwaj and Max Fosh. Winners will receive trophies as well as prize packages worth over £5,000, including studio time, professional subscriptions, industry promotion and live show filming opportunities.
