The countdown is on: there is just one week left to enter the 2025 Audio Production Awards. The final deadline is Wednesday 17 September at 2:00pm.

Now in their 15th year, the APAs celebrate talent across the audio industry — from podcasts to radio, audiobooks to sound design, production to presenting. This year there are 23 categories, covering Comedy, Factual/Documentary, Drama & Fiction, Arts, Music, Entertainment, Lifestyle & Society, and more. Awards also include Production Company of the Year, Publisher or Network of the Year, and Producer of the Year.

The Little Ears category, introduced in 2024 to celebrate children’s audio, returns — and will once again be judged by kids themselves. Three new categories debut in 2025: True Crime, Branded Content, and the Changemaker Award, recognising individuals or organisations driving real impact.

For the first time, most categories are open to both individual producers and production teams, reflecting the collaborative nature of many audio projects.

The Audio Production Awards take place later this year on Thursday 27th November at the BFI Southbank in London.
