Mel Giedroyc Takes Her Podcast to the West End for One Night Only

Mel Giedroyc will bring her hit podcast Where There’s A Will There’s A Wake to the stage for the first time with a one-off live show at London’s Adelphi Theatre on Tuesday 16 December 2025.

Since launching in May, the Sony Music podcast has seen Giedroyc quiz celebrity guests about their dream deaths, funerals and afterlife wishes. Guests have included Angela Scanlon, who requested a potato buffet at her wake, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who imagined a disco-ball demise, and Eric Idle, who asked for an explicit eulogy.

The live show will feature a yet-to-be-announced special guest, with Giedroyc guiding them through their ideal send-off in front of an audience. The evening will close with a Q&A session, giving fans the chance to put their own questions to the Mortician-in-Chief.

Giedroyc says: “What better place to stage a great big knees-up about death than the West End? I’ll be dusting off my halo (and maybe my pitchfork), and leading a very special guest to their dream send-off at the Adelphi.”

Tickets are available now at Fane.
