International Women’s Podcast Awards announces 2025 nominees

The ceremony is less than a month away

The nominees for the International Women's Podcast Awards have been announced.

Award hopefuls include Secret Mum Club (Audio Always) and When Life Gives You Lemons (ind.) for the Moment of Absolute Honesty award; Kill List (Wondery/Novel) and Lucky Boy (Tortoise) for the Moment of Behind-the-Scenes Brilliance award; and Dancing with Shadows (Stak) and Extreme: Peak Danger (BBC Radio 4) for the award in Moment of Pure Emotion. The ceremony takes place on Tuesday 17th June at the BBC Radio Theatre in Central London. This year's competition sees entries from 35 countries around the world, a record for the awards which are now in their fifth year.

The IWPA Bursary Fund also returns for 2025. This allows for a limited number of complimentary tickets to the awards to anyone who might benefit. Paying guests can choose to gift a ticket to somebody who may need one in support of the bursary.
