British Podcast Awards 2024 Winners

Who scooped the big prizes?

The British Podcast Awards, the biggest night in audio, took place earlier this week.

Podcast of the Year went to Press Play, Turn On, an Audible series narrated by Amelia Lander-Cavallo and created by Leeanne Coyle and Adam Zmith, looks at the rise of audio pornography and whether porn can be truly inclusive and accessible for all. 

The Highly Commended prize went to Have You Heard George’s Podcast?, where George the Poet reflects on the independence movement and the legacy of Empire.

The Listeners Choice Award, the award voted by the British listening public, went to Help I Sexted My Boss by William Hanson and Jordan North. Second place went to Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks’ Staying Relevant, and third place went to the refreshing adaptation of the Arthur Conan Doyle books Sherlock & Co.
