There seems to be a new interview series out on the BBC every other week at the moment. Yet this new series by the broadcaster Emma Bartnett stands out, because it focuses on the uniquely personal connection she has with her listeners through her personal interviews, as well as tapping into her own relationship with issues being faced by millions across the country.
Her first guest is the broadcaster Kate Thornton and they talk about the nuances of the perimenopause and menopause. “It feels like puberty in reverse,” says Thonton, “It feels like puberty has been reversing off the drive, and there’s nothing you can do.”
